If, like me, you can’t get enough of flipping through enchanting books, you’ll get a good dose of that at ‘t Stad Leest, a great independent book store in the heart of Antwerp’s fashion district.
I could easily lose one hour here, exploring the fiction and non-fiction alike, the colorful and very elaborate children’s section, the addictive display of stationary and the fun goodies no true bookworm can resist.
It also helps writers find some inspiration on days their brain feels like that of a goldfish, as there is always one special book or picture that stirs a new idea.
By the way, the husband-and-wife team behind the store appears to has stocked too many treasures for one store, so you’ll find the remaining collection of wonders at their second store Wunderkammer, located just across the street.
