A tree house, a grand piano, an indoor BBQ and french chansons to be sung from the top of your lungs: that’s Le Fou Chantant in a nutshell.
Situated on the skirts of the Bois de la Cambre, this little chalet serves big steaks grilled in the indoor fireplace, as well as a menu of French songs you can order the always present pianist/singer to perform. The aim is for you to sing along of course. The weekend often attracts big, drunk groups, so try to book a table on a weeknight. On special request you can also dine in the super romantic treehouse just outside the chalet. Locals are already sick of this place and roll their eyes at it, but I promise you it is a super fun first-time experience. I discovered the place as my husband and I were miserably looking for a quick bite on a dreary Wednesday night and turned out to be the best surprise ever. After two visits, you’ll grow weary of it, so make the best of that first one.
