A ballerina shrine, forgotten balloon on the ceiling and an absurd Michelin man staring at you from austere-looking library shelves.
One of my fixed date night haunt is Osteria Romana, a mysterious Italian restaurant that serves its delicious and authentic dishes in steel pans or under glass bells. Almost as famous as its cuisine and humor is the setting in itself: you feel like dining inside a cabinet of curiosities. There’s a romantic garden too where you can have dinner on dreamy summer nights. You can also just have a nice glass of wine while discussing world problems in the next-door cafe Le Cave, as wildly pretty as its big sister. There’s also the possibility to host a very romantic tête-à-tête there, for those looking for an even more intimate diner.
